What are the reasons to assign Attendee Groups?

Groups are assigned in Crowdpass for two different use cases.

1. Access Control:
   When using Crowdpass for access control, assigning attendees to groups allows you to control who can enter or scan into specific event areas. For example, if certain areas are restricted to specific ticket types, attendees not associated with the correct group will trigger a red scan (denied access).
   
   
2. Badge Printing:
   Groups are also used for badge printing. When multiple badge designs are being printed onsite, assigning attendees to their specific groups ensures Crowdpass prints the correct badge design for each attendee based on their group.
